The Sumatra Mandheling Grade 1 DP is grown on the lofty volcanic slopes near Mount Leuser in Aceh, Sumatra at approximately 1,100-1,350 meters. It is made up of Bourbon, Catimor, and Typica varietals and is harvested between June and December. The coffee is wet hulled and dried in the sun. “DP” means the beans were double picked to ensure uniform bean size and to decrease the number of defects.
